Established in 1891, Visiting Nurse Association is a nonprofit home health care agency that offers the area’s most comprehensive range of in-home services. As a United Way agency, Visiting Nurse Association cares for adults throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and its surrounding rural areas, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay.

Now 115 years later, the VNA has expanded both functionally and geographically. Today’s technological advances have affected every industry and home health care is no exception. The Visiting Nurse Association remains Kansas City’s leader in home health care not only because of its expertise, but also from its devotion to providing patients with the most up-to-date services technology offers.

VNA’s newest addition, the VNA TeleHealth Home Monitoring program, allows VNA to monitor patient’s vital signs daily including blood pressure, heart rate, weight, oxygen saturation and temperature. This new technological advance allows VNA to increase quality patient care to a new level.

To learn more about the VNA TeleHealth Home Monitoring program, and other state of the art technology used by VNA, go to “Why VNA” at the top of the page and click on VNA Technology.
