VNA in Your Community

Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) plays an active role in community health awareness. We strive to make Kansas City a healthier place by hosting and participating in local events that offer free health screenings and preventive health education, seasonal flu shots and more.

In fact, it's all part of VNA's mission to provide community and individual education on topics like health care, Medicare and insurance, healthy living guidelines and so forth. As such, we hope VNA can be a vital resource for you, your loved ones and your community.

VNA has been a United Way agency since the United Way began. This partnership extends our funding to help pay for home health care for those who are uninsured. VNA provides almost $1 million in uncompensated care each year.

While our community programs are partially funded by United Way, we accept private donations as well. If you would like to make a monetary contribution to VNA, please send a check, payable to VNA Corporation, to our main office at 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114.
